Learning by Reflecting on Experiences

This article describes student learning through reflecting on their experience as trainers. They underwent cycles of experiencing, sharing, reflecting, generalizing and experimenting.

Lecturer Esther Goh from the school of Business and Accountancy got her students (final year Diploma in Business Studies - Human Resource specialization) to experience a scenario from real life. The students acted out the role of training consultants. They collected training needs and conducted a workshop for fellow students acting as the ‘clients’.
