INTEGRATED PROJECT AS AN AUTHENTIC PLATFORM TO ENHANCE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS’ ENGAGEMENT AND LEARNING

The EE curriculum was re-designed to bring about more integration between different but related modules, and to allow students to see the relevance of what they are learning to the real-world.  Instead of the traditional lessons, students work on projects that require them to draw knowledge from a variety of modules and to use their understanding to solve real-world issues. Feedback from students and educators have been very positive with many citing this as an authentic learning experience that allows students to make sense of the content in a realistic context.
